Eek. I've only read two of those. One I loved (Dark Tower), the other I hated (Bell Jar). I'm just warming myself up to reading again - only managed about ten books in 2008. I know, truly shocking. And quite depressing. I'm not sure whether to blame the three pre-schoolers or the Buffy DVD set I got for Christmas 2007...
ReplyDeleteOf your list, I think I'm aiming for Rebecca soon and possibly American Tabloid.
How's the nose?
Karen
Ah, of course this is where the list is in full!
ReplyDeleteI have also read #13 but it is time for a re-read soon.
So, Rebecca is one of my all-time favourites but I have never read any other Du Maurier (although I did read and adore Justine Picardie's book Daphne). What about you? any recommendations?
Check out my blog - I'm reading Children's Lit this weekend.
Only 'My Cousin Rachel' which is pretty good too. I plan on reading Jamaica Inn which is supposed to be really good. I have two editions and can't decide which - one is really old but the other is modern and looks really cool
